Question Description
Papers should reflect familiarity with the history of research on that particular topic, which is provided below, and provide the reader with a critical and chronological overview of that topics significance in the history of Christianity (from antiquity to the present). Papers would thus ideally focus on and frame a particular problem, question, or contested site in the study of Christian origins. Papers should be no less than 10 pages (not including title page or bibliography) and include at least five scholarly sources. A peer-reviewed scholarly source is either published in a journal or book. Papers should be double-spaced, in Times New Roman, using 12 point font (except for footnotes, in 10 pt). Chicago Style Formatting (w/footnotes and bibliography).
Chose a particular angle – a research question or problem about early rationalization of the divinity of Jesus – to answer or solve rather than a review or summary of material. You can use 2 sources from what I will be sending you, the readings for the total of 5, but you also need to locate and use 3 additional scholarly sources. I’d suggest you think/reflect on a particular aspect of “the divinity of Jesus that is interesting and develop the paper from that point forward. ( Pm me for further clarification before starting the paper if necessary)
