I’m working on a writing question and need an explanation to help me learn.
1.Identify and discuss the two themes related to relationship patterns in very late-life adults. Include in your discussion relationships with family and friends, intimacy and sexuality, and organizations and community. How do current social arrangements threaten and/or support the desire for social connections among very late-life adults? Cite examples from the MargaretDavis, Pete Mullin, or Marie Cipriani case studies to illustrate different points of your discussion. (minimum of 6 sentences)
2.Examine the dying process in reference to acceptance of death, advance directives, palliative care, and signs and symptoms. What are your own feelings about death and dying? Describe your comfort level at being physically and emotionally present with clients and their loved ones experiencing a pending death. (minimum of 6 sentences)
3.Consider two social role transitions (family, grandparenthood, work and retirement, caring giving and care receiving, widowhood, and institutionalization) in late adulthood. How would understanding ag e-re social role changes help in your work with older adults? (minimum of 5)
4.Compare and contrast disengagement theory, activity theory, and continuity theory which help social workers to gain insight and perspectives on the process of growing old. Cite some examples from the Ms. Ruby Johnson case study in reference to how these theories help you to understand her situation. How would these theories impact your work with older adults?(minimum of 5 sentences)
5.Consider the psychological self in young adulthood. Include in your discussion the intertwined aspects of cognition, spirituality, and identity.(minimum of 6sentences).
