Over the course of the semester, you’ve learned a great deal about EL proficiency, scaffolding, and instruction. Earlier in the semester, you presented an activity focused on listening and speaking. You will use this activity as the basis of your paper.

First, briefly summarize the activity you presented. Then, with the knowledge you have gained this semester, report on how you would modify your activity for three different proficiency levels: early production, speech emergence, and intermediate fluency. Justify your modifications with information from academic sources, our lectures/assignments, your textbook, or other reliable sources.
