Upon taking the assessment, I found my top five attributes are achiever, connectedness, input, belief, and arranger. My top attribute came as no surprise, especially in how it is defined in the test. I often work in this manner, finding ultra time-consuming projects that are well valued in my company. This ethic allows me to always stay relevant and show people that I care deeply, especially those that look up to me as leadership. My second, connectedness, was also fairly expected. It really put my mindset to words because I try to relate almost any project I’m doing to someone who has prior knowledge on the subject. Although I rely on other people for their expertise, I believe that a majority of my work input is necessary to stay focused and follow through. My third is input, meaning I like to have a good recollection to how things are done or how I learned in the past. I always look back on my notes, especially when I comes to a multi-step issue. I think this is so important especially when trying to teach someone a certain task or walking through a project. As a whole, this quiz has allowed me to scrutinize my own daily work by expanding on my own strengths. Seeing that I am very driven was rewarding through the quiz, but it helps me to know that I need balance and to not be afraid to take things slow at times. At the same time, the results of this quiz show that I did not have certain skills I may have been expecting, one being leadership. Even though I typically think of someone who is a skilled communicator, it is clear that I have a long way to go before I can make that one of my more dominant strengths.
